Wondering how to create Instagram polls? In this Instagram stories tutorial, I'll be sharing how to use Instagram polls to get your followers to vote on Instagram.
By the end of this video, you'll know exactly how to use Instagram polls and how to get Instagram poll results to boost engagement with your Instagram followers. To create Instagram polls, head over to your Instagram profile, click on the plus sign up top, and then on story. Take a selfie, a picture of something around you, import one from your photo gallery, or even click on create to have a starting point to create your Instagram poll.
Now click on the sticker icon up top, and either scroll down until you find the Instagram poll sticker, or use the search bar to locate that option. Click on it to add the Instagram poll to your Instagram story.
You can either type a question if you so wish, or just leave the two poll options without the question. This works well if you imported an Instagram story graphic that already has the poll question added to it.
Either leave the two Instagram poll answers as yes or no, or change them to any other this or that option of your choice. You can also resize the Instagram poll to be the size of your choice, and drag it so that it's in the exact location that you wish. You can only add one Instagram poll per Instagram story, so if you wish to ask more than one question, you'll have to create multiple Instagram stories, with a different Instagram poll in each.
Once you're happy with how your Instagram poll looks like, click on 'your story' on the bottom left to add it to your Instagram stories. Now when someone sees your Instagram story, they can vote on either one of the two poll options.
After people have voted on your Instagram poll, you can check your insights to get the Instagram poll results. To access these poll insights, head over to your Instagram profile, and then click on 'insights'. Scroll down until you reach the stories section, and then click on that.
Locate the Instagram story which has the Instagram poll you wish to see the results of. Instagram will show you the number of people who viewed said Instagram story, and to view even more specific poll results, click on that Instagram story, and then swipe up.
Instagram will show you the number of people who voted for option A, the number of people who voted for option B, as well as everyone who voted. You can also view the interactions and discovery reach this Instagram story had, promote this Instagram story if it's still live, save the Instagram story with the Instagram poll to your camera roll, share this Instagram story as an Instagram post, delete the Instagram story, or even share the Instagram poll results to your Instagram stories.
