VidIQ ChatGPT: How To Get More Views On YouTube With ChatGPT VidIQ - ChatGPT for YouTube

To get more views on YouTube with ChatGPT and VidIQ, head over to ChatGPT, click on plugins from the left-hand side panel, and then, in the search bar where it says search plugins, search for VidIQ.

When that option populates that says VidIQ YouTube stats and keywords, click on the plus sign right next to it. This will redirect you to VidIQ.

A pop-up will appear saying, VidIQ MCP wants to access your VidIQ account. This will grant VidIQ MCP access to data from your VidIQ account. This includes your VidIQ account information and data about your YouTube channel. Go ahead and click on authorize.

As you can see, VidIQ is now installed and has been connected to ChatGPT. To start using VidIQ with ChatGPT, click on new chat from the top left hand side. Click on the plus sign, and then click on VidIQ.

If you wish, you can head over to vidiq.com/mcp. Scroll down and use these ready-to-use prompts for YouTube MCP so that you can get more views on YouTube by using prompts that will directly help you find your competition, performance, keywords, trends, and analytics.

For example, in this analytics section, we can copy this prompt that says, “Give me a 90-day channel health report with key insights.”

Let's head back to ChatGPT. Paste the prompt in the space provided, and then click on send prompt. Now, let's see what ChatGPT comes up with.

As you can see, ChatGPT is pulling my authorized channel. Then, it'll compare 90-day growth, traffic formats, and top performing videos to identify what is generally working.

It analyzed my YouTube channel health and daily performance metrics. It said, the early picture is steady but not accelerating. Views are consistent, while subscriber growth is modest. I'm now checking whether the constraint is discovery, topic selection, or viewer conversion.

ChatGPT is now using VidIQ to analyze top performing videos and engagement metrics. It said, a major pattern is clear. The channel's library is doing most of the work, especially search-driven problem-solving videos.

ChatGPT is now separating recent uploads from evergreen winners before giving recommendations. It analyzed recent YouTube shorts and compared channel performance metrics. It's also analyzing external traffic sources and viewer engagement.

Now, it's comparing growth strategies and evaluating YouTube search-driven channel performance.

Now, if we scroll down, you can see that ChatGPT and VidIQ provided a 90-day health report for Yes To Tech. It also provided us with the reporting window.

ChatGPT and VidIQ classified the overall health of this channel as a B minus. Stable, profitable, but strategically fragile.

The channel is not declining sharply or dead. It has a dependable evergreen engine generating roughly 1,400 views per day, consistent revenue, and modest subscriber growth. The concern is that the engine is heavily dependent on search traffic, older videos, and a small number of winners. My new weekly uploads are not yet replacing or meaningfully expanding that engine.

In plain English, my library is healthy, but current publishing is producing maintenance rather than momentum.

It also provided us with a 90-day scorecard, including subscribers, public subscriber growth, gross subscribers gained, subscribers lost, net analytics growth, detailed analytics views, public channel view growth, watch time, average view duration, average percentage viewed, videos published, estimated revenue, and approximately per thousand views.

It also talks about publishing consistency and subscriber growth. It even provided us with an important finding. This is currently a search library, not an audience-led channel, and even provided some data to back up that fact.

It talks about my evergreen library being my strongest asset, where most of my subscribers are coming from, and recent upload health. It even lets us know what is working and what is holding the channel back.

Lastly, VidIQ and ChatGPT provides us with a recommended strategy for the next 90 days, as well as a final diagnosis.

Now, if you want to use VidIQ and ChatGPT to get more views on YouTube, what you can do is ask a follow-up question. Go ahead and click on the plus sign over here. Click on VidIQ once more and say, based on your findings, how do I get more views on YouTube, and then click on send prompt.

This answer will be tailored exactly to your YouTube channel so that you can grow on YouTube by using a practical growth plan.

As you can see, ChatGPT and VidIQ is providing us with proven topic clusters that still have the strongest searchable follow-up opportunities. And, based on that, it is building us a focused growth plan.

ChatGPT and VidIQ said that I need two growth engines, not just more uploads.

Where is the real opportunity in my case to get more views on YouTube? The opportunity is to create more videos around searches already proven to work and get each search viewer to watch a second related video.

In order to grow my YouTube channel, I should build clusters around proven winners. Turn my top videos into viewing funnels. Make the opening radically more direct. Stop asking one channel to attract several unrelated audiences. Simplify my titles without abandoning search intent, use Shorts as feeders, not as a separate content strategy.

And lastly, it even provides me with a weekly growth system, which is one tightly targeted long-form tutorial, one short extracted from the same viewer problem, and one update to an existing high traffic video's end screen, pinned comment, and description.
