Wondering how to repurpose content to make the most out of your content marketing strategy? In this video marketing tutorial, you'll get a content repurposing guide sharing the best ways to repurpose content so that you can easily do omnipresence marketing. So let's get right into these repurposing content ideas so that you can repurpose content quickly using your pillar content.

One of the main reasons why I script YouTube videos, if you don't know 'how to write a script for a YouTube video', make sure to watch my video on that topic, I'll leave the link to it in the description box below, is to make repurposing its content easier. In fact, I'll be repurposing this YouTube video that we just uploaded as a blog post.

If you don't know 'how to upload videos on YouTube', make sure to watch my video on that topic. I'll leave the link to it in the description box below.

To do so, head over to your blogging platform. I personally use Wix, which you can get started with for free by clicking on the link in the description box below. Once you've logged in to your Wix account, hover your mouse over the website you wish to repurpose content on, and then click on 'select site'.

To make the most out of your content marketing strategy, click on 'blog' from the left-hand side panel, and then on the 'create new post' button on the top, right-hand side. To make repurposing video marketing content easier, make sure that you have your video script document open on another tab.

The first thing we'll be copying from the video script document is the YouTube video's title, and pasting it in this 'add a catchy title' section in Wix. Then place your cursor where it says 'start writing your post here', click on the plus icon that appears on the left-hand side, click on 'image', then on 'upload media' from the top, left-hand side, and on 'upload from computer'.

Locate one of the video graphic images you already created from your documents, and then click on 'open'. If you don't know how to create a video graphic like this one, make sure to watch my video on 'how to make graphics for your YouTube videos with Canva'. I'll leave the link to it in the description box below.

To add that video graphic image to your blog post, make sure that it's selected, and then click on 'add to page' on the bottom, right-hand side. To make sure that you're making the most out of your repurposed content to make it found on multiple platforms, click on the gear icon from the image's individual toolbar to access its settings, copy the description you added to the top of your YouTube video's description box from the video script document, and paste it in this alt text section.

I personally turn off both the expand mode and download options and then click on save on the bottom, right-hand side. Now head back to the video script document, copy the entire video script and description box content, including the YouTube video's tags, and paste all of that below the video graphic image you added to your blog post.

Copy just the tags, click on 'tags' from the left-hand side panel of the blog post editor, and paste them in the space provided. Once the tags have been processed, x out of the tags editor, and delete the tags from the bottom of your blog post.

Now copy the YouTube video's URL, place your cursor between the end of the video script and the beginning of the video script description box, click on the plus icon that appears on the left-hand side, click on 'video', paste the YouTube video's URL in the space provided, and then click on 'add'. Repeat this same process to add the video between the first and second paragraphs of your video's script.

By adding not only text content, but also an image and video content to this blog post, you'll boost your content marketing strategy by increasing the chances of it ranking in search. In addition, you will be providing your visitors with more value, and increase the time they spend on your blog.

The next thing we'll do is add links to the body of the video script to any other resources we mentioned. As such, head over to the resources mentioned section in the video script document, copy each one of these links, and paste them where you mention each one of these resources. Remember to link the subscribe link as well.

Now that we've added the entire content of the video script to our blog, and linked all the elements, click on 'category' from the left-hand side panel, and add a category to your blog post. In my case, I'll add it to the DIY website category.

Once you've done that, click on 'SEO' from the left-hand side panel, and make sure that URL slug and title tag look the way you wish. To fill out this meta description section, head over to the Tailwind caption you created in your video script document, copy that, and paste it in the meta description section.

From the same SEO settings editor, click on the 'advanced' tab, and then on 'additional tags'. Under canonical, copy the blog post's entire URL, and paste it in the 'read the post' section of your blog post. Make sure that you also add that link to your video script document and to your YouTube video.

All that's left to do now is schedule this blog post to make the most out of your content marketing strategy. To do so, first click on 'save' on the top, right-hand side, and then click on the downward pointing arrow next to where it says 'publish'.

Click on 'schedule post', select a date and time for when the post should go live, and then click on 'schedule' on the bottom, right-hand side to successfully repurpose content. In our next video, we'll take this repurposing content to the next level by adding your video script to even more platforms, so stay tuned for that.
