Wondering how to make the most out of your Wix admin dashboard? In this Wix website tutorial, you'll learn how to navigate the Wix dashboard so that you can easily use your Wix paid plans. So let's get right into this Wix web design tutorial on how to use the admin dashboard in Wix so that you can get Wix help and Wix support.
First off, if you don't have a Wix account yet, just click on the link in the description box below to sign up for free. Once you've logged in to your Wix account, hover your mouse over the website you wish to access the Wix admin dashboard of, and then click on 'select site'.
This will redirect you to your Wix admin dashboard. From the white panel up top, you can click on the Wix logo on the top, left-hand side to go back to the page we were previously on with all of your sites, or you can click on the 'my sites' drop down menu to click on another site to access its Wix admin dashboard, to create a new site or to go to all sites.
Under 'partner dashboard', you can join Wix's Partner Program and immediately access your free, all-in-one space to handle client projects, billing, workflows, leads and more. It only makes sense to join if you're a freelancer or agency that manages clients or others' workflows.
Under 'explore', you can check out Wix's updates and releases to stay up-to-date with the latest news, videos, webinars and more, view inspiring websites to explore website examples, access the eCommerce school to get step-by-step guidance to build your eCommerce business with confidence, and access courses and lessons to learn your way to online success.
Under 'help', you can visit the Wix help center, use the search bar to locate what you need help with, check out featured articles and help topics. For more details on how to easily contact Wix support, check out my video on that topic. I'll leave the link to it in the description box below.
Under 'upgrade', you can view the other available Wix website plans and Wix business and eCommerce plans to then switch from the current plan you're on. On the right-hand side of the white panel up top of the Wix admin dashboard, you can search for something you're looking for, access your inbox, view your notifications, and check out new releases.
If you click on your icon on the top, right-hand side, you can access your account settings, domains, business email, vouchers, billing history, premium subscriptions, payment methods, Wix payment accounts, create a new site, help center, hire a professional, change your website's language and log out.
Once you access your Wix admin dashboard, you'll automatically be redirected to its homepage. From this section at the top, you can view your live site, access site actions, including rename site, get feedback, view live site, rebuild on Editor X, transfer site, invite people, duplicate site, move to trash and create new site, edit site, view your site role and invite people, view your site plan and manage plan, view your business email and manage business email, as well as view your Ascend plan and compare plans.
The Wix admin dashboard widgets that appear below this top section are customizable. In order to edit them, click on 'customize' next to where it says 'your business overview', and then choose the widgets you want to view on your Wix admin dashboard.
On my Wix admin dashboard's home page, I can view my latest blog posts, invoices, upcoming tasks, latest email campaign, Facebook ads by Wix, recently active contacts, your top suggestion, analytics, suggested for you, analytics insights, we're here to help you, and you've got much more than a website.
From the left-hand side panel of the Wix admin dashboard you can access your video library, including videos, which you can either upload or embed from YouTube, Vimeo or Facebook, live streams, which is where you can go to go live on your site anytime, from anywhere by scheduling an event for later or going live now, and channels, which are collections of your videos.
Under 'blog' from the Wix admin dashboard, you can track and improve how your blog is performing. You can track your latest posts, start a post with a template, boost your blog with more apps, access all blogging tools, or learn more about blogging. You can also view your Wix blog posts that are published, drafts, scheduled, trash, Wix blog categories and Wix blog writers.

Under 'subscriptions' from the Wix admin dashboard, you can manage all recurring payments coming to you from Pricing Plans, Stores & Invoices.
Under 'contacts' from the Wix admin dashboard, you can sort and keep track of the people who interact with your site. You can also add contacts manually or import them from Gmail or a CSV file. Visitors will become contacts when they perform certain site actions. From this same section you can view your site members, who are people who signed up to your site, workflows, where you can track leads, contacts & orders on a simple board, and tasks and reminders, where you can easily manage tasks for your site and get more done.
Under 'communications' from the Wix admin dashboard, you can view and reply to messages from different channels. You can view all of your conversations, unread, starred, unassigned, assigned, assigned to me and archive. From this same section, you can manage your chat settings, create and manage online forms, and view info submitted by your visitors, and get a customized email address using your domain
Under 'automations' from the Wix admin dashboard, you can let your site send emails, create tasks and do more for you, 24/7. All you have to do is set up the automation once, and it’ll work for you, even when you're offline.
Under 'marketing and SEO' from the Wix admin dashboard, you can use these tools to drive traffic to your site and reach a wider audience. From this same section, you can access SEO tools to optimize your site for search engines so more people can find you online, email marketing to drive traffic to your site with email campaigns, Facebook and Instagram ads to reach the right audience on Facebook and Instagram with Wix’s AI, multichannel campaigns to promote a campaign across multiple channels, Google business profile to promote your business on Google Search and Maps, social posts to choose a stunning template and customize it to stand out on social media, video maker to manage your videos and share them on social, marketing integrations, logo maker to create a professional logo for your brand, and business cards and more to promote your business with branded merchandise.
Under 'analytics and reports' from the Wix admin dashboard, you can view your traffic overview, sales overview, people overview to understand who your customers and contacts are, reports, insights to use data to see what you should do next on your site, benchmarks to find out how you're doing compared to sites like yours, site speed to check your site's loading time and learn how to optimize it, alerts to get an email alert when there’s a significant change in key stats, or create your own custom alert, and email updates to manage your Wix analytics emails.
Under 'finances' from the Wix admin dashboard, you can keep track of payments from your customers and start accepting online payments. From this same section, you can access price quotes to create, manage and send price quotes to potential clients, invoices to send invoices and get paid, recurring invoices to get paid regularly, and financial integrations to sync your sales and invoices, and keep all your accounting in one place.
Under 'channels' from the Wix admin dashboard, you can manage your website, domains, site branches and more. From this same section, you can set up your mobile app to offer your clients, customers and contacts a mobile app where they can easily engage and stay updated
with your site on the go. Customize your members app and invite them to join you as members. You can also access your branded app to build your brand credibility with a mobile app that’s listed on the App Store & Google Play.
Under 'settings' from the Wix admin dashboard, you can access general settings to set your site details, business info, language and more, eCommerce and Finance settings to manage your payment settings, transactions and how you sell online, communications settings to set up different channels to connect with your visitors, and advanced settings to manage tracking, privacy and production tools.
Under 'apps' from the Wix admin dashboard, you can manage the apps on your site or go to the App Market to add new ones.
Under 'content manager' from the Wix admin dashboard, you can store and manage content to display anywhere on your site.
Under 'developer tools' from the Wix admin dashboard, you can access logs to view site logs in real time and connect to Google Operations to store your site's logging history, monitoring to monitor your backend traffic to detect performance issues and errors on your site, secrets manager to store your API keys and give them names to use safely in your code, and triggered emails to use Velo by Wix to send automated emails for any action you choose.
Lastly, under 'quick access' from the Wix admin dashboard, you can edit site, add contact, create task, write blog post, invite people, send email campaign, create social post and create promo video.
