Mailchimp Wix: How To Easily Integrate Mailchimp With Wix (Wix Mailchimp Integration)

Wondering how to easily integrate Mailchimp with Wix? In this Wix Mailchimp integration tutorial, you’ll learn how to add Mailchimp to your Wix account.

By the end of this video, you’ll know exactly how to integrate Mailchimp with Wix to add a Mailchimp signup form to your Wix website. First off, if you don't have a Mailchimp account yet, just click on the link in the description box below to sign up for free. To view your existing Mailchimp signup forms or create a new Mailchimp signup form to embed onto your Wix website, click on 'audience' from the left-hand side menu and then on 'audience dashboard'.

If you have more than one audience in your Mailchimp account, click the 'current audience' dropdown and choose the one you want to grow via a signup form on your Wix website. Click the 'manage audience' dropdown on the right-hand side, and choose 'signup forms'.

Since we want to embed this Mailchimp form onto our Wix website, click on 'select' next to where it says 'embedded forms' to generate HTML code to embed in your Wix site or blog to collect signups.

There are a number of Mailchimp embedded form types that you can add to your Wix website: classic, condensed, horizontal, and unstyled. If you wish to customize these embedded forms further, click on the 'advanced' tab to style your Mailchimp signup form embed code using custom CSS, hide fields you don't want subscribers to see or edit, and create a completely custom signup form for your Wix site by connecting to Mailchimp's API.

Once you've selected one of Mailchimp's embedded form types, such as the classic form, you can toggle whether you wish to include the form title or not, select whether you wish to show only required fields or all fields, toggle whether you wish to show interest group fields or not, toggle whether you wish to show required field indicators or not, toggle whether you wish to show format options or not, click to manage GDPR fields, enter an optional form width in pixels, toggle whether you wish to disable all Javascript or not, toggle whether you wish to include archive link or not, and toggle whether you wish to include a referral link or not.

Once you're happy with all the settings you set for your Mailchimp embedded form, copy the HTML code that appears on your screen in the box under where it says 'copy/paste onto your site'. Now head over to your Wix account, if you don't have a Wix account yet, just click on the link in the description box below to sign up for free, and click on the pencil icon above the website you want to add the Mailchimp opt in form to.

In the Wix editor, click on the pages dropdown menu on the top, left-hand side to select the page you want to embed the Mailchimp optin form via HTML on Wix. Now click on the plus add icon from the left-hand side panel, and on 'embed'.

Under this 'custom embeds' section, select the 'embed a widget' option. To transform this grey square into an actual email opt in form from Mailchimp, click on 'enter code' from the HTML box's individual toolbar.

Under the HTML settings popup box, make sure that 'code' is selected, paste the HTML code that you copied from Mailchimp in the space provided, and then click on 'update’. If the Mailchimp email opt in form isn't showing up in the HTML box, or if there are arrows pointing in either direction asking you to scroll to access the entire email opt in form, make sure to resize the HTML box so that your entire Mailchimp email opt in form is apparent.

Once you're done embedding a Mailchimp email opt in form via HTML on Wix, make sure to click on 'publish' on the top, right-hand side to make your changes active.
