How To Make Wix Website Fit All Screens

We'll be using strips to make your Wix website fit all screens.



To get started, click on the pages drop-down menu on the top left hand side and either click on the page you want to add the Wix strips to so that it fits all screens, or click on manage pages at the bottom of the page and then on add new page at the bottom again to get started with a blank page we'll be adding strips to.


Once you've done that, name that new page in your site menu, such as responsive Wix page, and then click on done on the right. X out of the site pages and menu popup to get started.


Now, from the left-hand side panel, click on the plus icon to add elements, and then click on strip. Feel free to choose any strip of your choice. These include classic, featured, about, services, contacts, welcome, testimonials, and team.


Let's go ahead and click on the featured strip and drag and drop this first strip onto our page. You can then add as many strips as you wish to this page. All you have to do is repeat the same process: click on add elements from the left-hand side panel, strip, and then click on another strip such as the about strip, and then drag and drop that underneath the initial strip you added.


From each of these strips you add, you can then click on it and, from its toolbar that appears up top, change its background, change its layout, change its design, add shape dividers, add animation and effects, make sure that it's stretched or not, or even access additional help. You can also click on the individual elements within that strip, such as the text bars and images, to make further edits.


Once you're happy with how your strips look, click on preview on the top right hand side to see how your website will look like on desktop. It looks perfect.


Now, if we click on the mobile view to edit your site for mobile, you can also see that it looks perfect in this dimension as well.


To make your Wix website fit all screens and have these changes be active, all you have to do is click on publish on the top right hand side.
