Wondering how to use a DM me sticker on Instagram stories? In this video, I'll be sharing a new Instagram stories update that allows you to ask questions to your Instagram followers with an Instagram chat sticker.
By the end of this video, you'll know exactly how to use the Instagram DM me sticker on Instagram stories to build engagement and a relationship with your Instagram followers. To use the DM me sticker on Instagram stories, head over to your Instagram profile, and click on your profile picture on the top, left-hand side to access Instagram stories. You can either take a new photo, or click on the camera roll icon on the bottom left to add an existing photo that you wish to add a DM me sticker to.
You can also choose the free hand option up top, select a color at the bottom, and then press and hold on the screen to transform the background of your Instagram stories into a solid colored background.
To add the DM me sticker to this Instagram story, click on the stickers icon up top, and then either use the search bar to search for 'DM me', or locate the DM me sticker from the available options, and then click on that.
You can either type something that you want your Instagram followers to DM you about, or you can click on the dice at the bottom to get Instagram to randomly select a DM me prompt for you. Once you've finished typing or choosing something that you want your Instagram followers to DM you about, click on 'done' on the top, right-hand side.
Just like with any regular Instagram story stickers, you can use your pointer finger to move the DM me sticker to another location on your Instagram story, or you can use the pinching motion to increase or decrease the size of your DM me sticker. Once you're done making changes, to add this DM me sticker to your Instagram story, click on 'your story' on the bottom, left-hand side of the screen.
Now if we open up this Instagram story using another Instagram account, you'll notice that when I click on 'DM me', Instagram will automatically open up a direct message option where your Instagram followers can respond to your DM me prompt with text, a Gif and / or an image. After they've answered to your DM me prompt, you'll be able to view it along with your Instagram story in your direct messages in your Instagram account.
