How To Pin Comments On Instagram Posts

Want to pin a comment on Instagram so that it appears at the very top of your Instagram comment section? In this video, I'll show you how to pin a comment on Instagram posts, which is a recent Instagram update that allows you to pin a comment to the top, just like on YouTube.

By the end of this video, you'll know exactly how to pin Instagram comments so that you can boost engagement and interaction with your Instagram followers. To pin a comment on Instagram, head over to your Instagram profile, and click on a video or photo post that you want to add a pinned comment to. At the bottom of that Instagram post, click on any of the comments to get to the Instagram comments section.

To pin a comment on Instagram to the top, just slide that comment to the left, and click on the pin icon. When you pin a comment, Instagram will notify the person who wrote it, and that comment will have a pinned label underneath it. To unpin a comment, just slide that comment to the left once more, and click on the pin icon again.

You can pin up to three comments on Instagram, and the very last person's comment that you pin is the one that'll appear at the very top. So if you plan on pinning three comments on Instagram, pin the one that you want to appear in third first, the one that you want to appear in second second, and the one that you want to appear in first third. If you try to pin more than three Instagram comments, Instagram will send you a notification reminding you of the limit.

By pinning a comment on Instagram you automatically boost your engagement and interaction with your Instagram followers, since it's an excellent way to share your Instagram follower's voice, give them a mini reward for commenting, and better manage the tone of the conversation so that it's more positive overall.
