To add a hyperlink in a PDF using PDFescape, head over to pdfescape.com, locate the PDFescape Online PDF Editor, and then click on 'free online'. To get started with PDFescape, choose a PDF file to open in PDFescape.

You can either create a new PDF document, upload a PDF to PDFescape, load a PDF from the internet or load a PDF previously opened. Note that PDF files must be less than 10 MB and less than 100 pages.

If you need help creating a PDF, make sure to watch my video on 'How To Create A PDF Using Canva'. I'll leave the link to it in the description box below.

I'm going to click on 'upload a PDF to PDFescape', and then you can either drop the PDF in the space provided, or click on 'choose file' to locate and then open the PDF file you want to add a hyperlink in a PDF using PDFescape.

PDFescape will process your file, and then open it in its PDF editor. Say I want to add a hyperlink in this PDF to my website where it says 'Yes To Tech'. To do so, click on 'link' from the left-hand side panel, and click and drag on the page to insert the hyperlink box.

I'm going to do so around the Yes To Tech piece of text. To add a hyperlink in this PDF, set its link properties. You can add a hyperlink to a URL or to a page, in this case I'll select 'URL', then place the hyperlink link in the space provided, and then click on 'ok'.

Now let me show you how to add a hyperlink in a PDF using PDFescape to a new page. To do so, click on 'link' again from the left-hand side panel, and click and drag on the page to insert the hyperlink box.

Say that I want to add a hyperlink to page 3 where it says '1-1 coaching'. I'm going to add the box around that piece of text. This time, I'll select 'page' from the hyperlink popup, select page 3, and then click on 'ok'.

If you made a mistake, and don't want to add a hyperlink to this specific piece of text, for instance, you can click and drag the hyperlink box so that it's in another location, and use the black handles around the hyperlink box to resize it.

If you want to link this hyperlink box to a URL or to another page instead, click on the tool icon up top to view the object properties. From here, you can add a hyperlink in this PDF to another page you select from the dropdown menu, or select URL, and paste the URL you want to add a hyperlink to in the space provided, and then click on 'ok'.

If you don't want to add this hyperlink box any longer, click on the trash can up top to delete the object. Feel free to add as many hyperlinks to your PDF as you wish. Once you're done adding all the hyperlinks to your PDF document, click on 'click here to disable' up top to stop using the link feature in PDFescape.

To save and download this PDF document with hyperlinks, click on 'save and download PDF' from the left-hand side panel. The edited PDF with hyperlinks will be saved to your computer. Now if we open it up, place your cursor over the word you added a hyperlink to, and click on it, you'll be redirected to the URL or page you set.
