How To Add Gradient Color To Text In Canva

To add a gradient color to text and Canva, log into your Canva account and open up the design size of your choice. Then, click on the text icon from the left-hand side panel, and on "Add a Heading". Customize what the text says. If you wish, you can double click on that text and then on the text picker from the white panel up top to select another font. You can also change the font size to make it smaller or larger.

Now, just as we did in our previous video, click on the background and then on the Color Picker from the white panel up top. Click on the plus icon to add a new document color. Select gradient and then customize the gradient colors.

Feel free to change the style of the gradients you want to add to your text. Now, double click on your text and change the text color to white and the transparency to 50 percent. Once you've done so, click on share from the panel up top and then on download. Make sure that the file type is set to PNG and then click on download again.

Once your Canva design has downloaded, drag and drop it back into Canva to upload it to your account. To add a gradient color to this text, let's first delete what we created and then click on the image we just uploaded to add it to our design. Now, click on edit photo and then on background remover. As you can see, the text we just created now has a gradient. You're now free to customize this Canva design to look the way you wish.
