To create a gradient background in Canva, login to your Canva account, and then open up the design you want to add a Canva gradient to.
To change this white color to a gradient background, click on the Color Picker on the white panel up top. Where it says "Documents Colors", click on the plus icon to add a new color. Rather than selecting a solid color, click on "Gradient."
Where it says "Gradient Colors," you can add up to 10 different colors. To change this first style, click on it, and then either drag and drop the little circle to the color of your choice or change the hex code of that color to the color you wish. You can also change the opacity of that color. If you have one already, you can pick a color from the design.
Let's do the same thing for this other color over here by clicking on it and changing the hex code. As I mentioned, you can add up to 10 gradient colors. So, to do that, just click on the plus icon to add a new gradient color to your gradient background and change the hex code.
Continue doing so until you've added all the gradient colors you'll want to add to your gradient background. Over here at the bottom, you can change between the different styles of your gradient in Canva. This includes a linear gradient 90 degrees, a linear gradient 180 degrees, a linear gradient 125 degrees, a circular gradient at 50 degrees, as well as a circular gradient at zero degrees.
Once you've selected the gradient colors and the style you want to add to your gradient background, feel free to add any other elements to your design as you wish. Change the name of your design up top, and then click on "Share" and "Download" to save the design with a gradient background to your computer.
