Adding HTML code to Wix (Embedding Code in Editor) - Wix Tutorial for Beginners - Wix.com

To add HTML code to Wix, such as to embed this email opt-in form from Kit to your Wix website, head over to your Wix site editor. Click on the pages drop-down menu on the top left-hand side and then on "Manage Pages."

You can either select a page from your site menu to add your HTML code to, or click on "Add New Page" at the bottom, which is what I'll do, and then click on "Add Blank Page" to add a new page to your Wix website where you'll be adding the HTML code to. Name this new page something like "HTML Code," and then click on "Done."

Now, X out of the site pages and menu popup and then click on "Add Elements" from the top left-hand side. Click on "Embed Code," and then under the "Popular Embeds" option, click on "Embed HTML."

In the space provided, make sure that "Code" is selected, and then head over to the platform, such as Kit, where you want to get the HTML code from to embed into your Wix website. In Kit, click on "Embed," select "HTML," and then copy the code.

Back in Wix, paste the code in the space provided and then click on "Update." If you wish, you can add alt text in the space provided, such as to say "opt-in form."

Now select the HTML box and resize it so that the entire opt-in form appears. If you wish, you can also click on "Settings" to change the code you added, or on "Stretch" to stretch this HTML code box to full width or not.

If you do choose to stretch the HTML code box to full width, you can also increase or decrease its margins. Once you're done customizing your HTML code box, make sure to click on "Publish" on the top right-hand side to make your changes active.
