Wix Embed Website: Embedding A Site Or A Widget With The Wix Editor

To embed an external website onto your Wix site, such as this ConvertKit landing page I created in my last video, open up your Wix editor. Click on the Pages drop-down menu on the top left-hand side and then on Manage Pages.

Click on “Add Page”, and then select a blank page. Name that new page whatever you wish, such as "Embedded Site," and then click on Done.

Now, click on the three little dots next to that page within your site pages and menu. Then, click on Settings. Click on Layout up top and choose "No Header and Footer." Let's close out of this menu.

Next, click on “Add” from the left-hand side panel to add a new element. Find "Embed Code" under the Popular Elements section. Click on "Embed a Site" to display an external website in a window on your site.

Where it says "What do you want to add," make sure that "Website Address" is selected. Then, when it asks for the website's address, head over to the page you want to embed onto your Wix website, such as this Convertkit landing page, and copy that page's URL.

Back in Wix, paste that URL in the space provided. Make sure that it starts with "https" only. Then, click on Apply. If you wish, you can add alt text to the space provided. Let's close out of these HTML settings.

As you can see, here this HTML box is way smaller than the actual landing page. In order to make it fit properly, click on "Stretch" from the HTML box's individual toolbar, and then on "Stretch to" for width.

Now, all you have to do is click on the page and resize it so that it fits properly.

Once you're done embedding your external website onto your Wix website, make sure to click on "Publish" on the top right-hand side to make your changes active.

I started writing a novel a year ago, but I decided to make my novel with pictures, or rather, I decided to add black and white photos. But in order to insert them, I needed to edit them and I found the site and here you can edit photos and at the same time reduce the size of the photo, without degrading the quality - this was very important for me.
