First things first, make sure you're logged in to your Wix account. If you don't have one yet, sign up by clicking on the link in the description box - it's free and easy!
Once you're logged in, head over to the Wix Editor. If you're not already working on your site, you can start a new one or edit an existing one.
Now, let's get to the fun part! In the Wix Editor, find the 'Add' button on the left-hand menu and click on it. Then, select 'Payments' from the dropdown.
Under the "payment buttons", select one of the "pay buttons" that's to your liking, such as "pay now".
Now you can customize your payment button to make it look appealing from its individual toolbar.
Under "settings", you can enter the item name, item price, change the currency, enter what the button says, and select whether you wish to show or hide a terms and conditions checkbox.
Under "manage payment methods", you can connect different payment methods to your payment button, such as manual payments, credit card payments, PayPal payments or local payment methods.
Under "layout", you can edit the text alignment of your payment button so that it's aligned either to the left, center or right.
Under "design", you can change the appearance of your payment button, and then click on "customize design" at the bottom to edit the fill color and opacity, border, corners, shadow and text both of the regular button and of the button on hover.
Under "animation", you can select an animation to add to your payment button if you wish, and then click on "customize" at the bottom to edit that animation further.
Before you publish your site, make sure to test your payment button. Click it to ensure that it leads to the payment page without any hiccups. You wouldn't want your customers to have a frustrating experience, right?
Once you're satisfied with your setup and everything works like a charm, hit that 'Publish' button. Your payment button is now live and ready to accept payments from eager customers!
Now that you're all set up, keep an eye on your payments. You can track transactions, manage orders, and even set up notifications for new purchases in your Wix dashboard.
