In this video, I'm going to show you how to add and connect payment methods to your Wix website.
In order to get to this page I'm currently on, where you can accept payments, you first need to access your Wix website's dashboard. Then, click on Settings from the left-hand side panel, and on Accept Payments, where you can choose the way you get paid by customers.
Wix offers a number of options where you can accept payments on your website. The first thing you need to do is review whether your business location is correct. In my case, it's set to Brazil. Then, you can accept credit cards, local payment methods, PayPal, as well as manual payments.
In order to set up one of these payment methods, locate the payment method you want to connect to, such as Accept Credit Cards, and then click on the Connect button on the right. For instance, to set up Wix Payments, you'll need to select what is your business type, either personal or business. Add your personal details or business details, add your bank account details, select if you anticipate credit card transactions, select whether you wish to accept installments or not, and then agree to the terms and conditions. Once you're done filling out these Wix payment settings, click on Create Account.
You can also add and connect PayPal payment methods to your Wix website by locating the PayPal section and then clicking on Connect. In order to connect PayPal to your Wix website, all you need to do is enter your email address in the space provided and then click on Connect at the bottom.
If you wish to accept manual payments on your Wix website, where you can accept cash, check, or other custom forms of payment, locate the manual payment section on your Wix website and then click on Connect on the right. From the drop-down menu that appears, select one of the following payment types: manual payment, cash payment, offline payment, or cash on delivery. Then, let your customers know how to pay by adding instructions in the space provided. Once you're done doing so, click on Connect at the bottom.
