First off, if you don't have a Canva account yet, just click on the link in the description box below to sign up for free. There are two ways to make Instagram infographics with Canva: by creating them freehand using an Instagram post template and by using and resizing an infographic template.

Let's start by creating an infographic in Canva freehand using an Instagram post template. In your Canva homepage, use the search bar up top, or the suggested design templates, to locate the Instagram post template. Once that option populates, click on it.

We'll be creating an Instagram infographic that fits in with our brand, and that combines both text and graphics. To change the background color of your Instagram infographic, click on your design at large, on the color picker up top, and then select the color of your choice.

If you're a Canva Pro user, you can create a brand kit with your brand colors to make it even easier to access those. You can try Canva Pro for free by clicking on the link in the description box below. I'll go ahead and select my brand's turquoise color for the background color.

Now let's add a heading that describes what this infographic is about. To do so, click on 'text' from the left-hand side panel, and then on 'add a heading'. Type in what your infographic is about, such as 'how to make Instagram infographics with Canva'. Feel free to reposition the text box, and use the options on the white panel up top to customize how your text looks like.

Let's now add a subheading with our Instagram handle. To do so, click on 'text' from the left-hand side panel, and then on 'add a subheading'. Type in your Instagram handle. Just as before, feel free to reposition the text box, and use the options on the white panel up top to customize how your text looks like.

Here's the fun part. Let's add graphics to this Instagram infographic. To do so, click on 'elements' from the left-hand side panel, locate the graphics section, and then click on 'see all' next to it.

Canva has a number of graphics that you can choose from, or feel free to use the search bar up top to refine your graphics search. I'll go ahead and use the search bar to search for infographic graphics. Once you've located a graphic you enjoy, click on it to add it to your Instagram infographic. Feel free to resize and reposition it.
