To add admin on Facebook page, head over to Facebook and click on your profile picture on the top right-hand side.
Make sure that you click on “See All Profiles” and switch into the profile of the page you want to manage and add an admin to. I'll go ahead and click on my Facebook page.
Once I've switched into that Facebook page, click on “See Page” on the bottom left-hand side.
Once you're within your Facebook page, click on “Settings” from the left-hand side panel to start managing your page.
Under “Audience and Visibility,” click on “Page Setup.” Then click on “Page Access,” which is where you'll go to invite people to help manage your page and control who has access to it.
To manage and view access to your Facebook page (i.e. in order to add a Facebook page admin), you can either select people to have Facebook access, which means these people can switch into the page and manage it directly on Facebook or by using other tools like Meta Business Suite or Creator Studio.
You can also add people with task access. These people can switch into the page on Facebook, but they can manage specific tasks using other tools like Meta Business Suite or Creator Studio.
Or you can even add a community manager. Community managers can moderate chat comments, suspend or remove people who violate community standards, and see all admins of this page.
In order to add a new admin to your Facebook page, choose which of these options you want, such as people with Facebook access, and then click on “Add New” on the right-hand side.
Once you've clicked on “Add New,” you can view what this new option means for your Facebook access and then click on “Next.”
If you agree to what you want the person to do, select who should have access to this page. You can either search by name or email using the search bar provided.
Once you've found that person, click on them and then you'll see what this person will be able to manage. This includes:
Content, such as creating, managing, or deleting posts, stories, and more as the page.
Messages and calls, where they can send and respond to direct messages and make calls as the page.
Community activity, where they can review and respond to comments, remove unwanted comments, and report activity.
Ads, where they can create, manage, and delete ads for the page.
Insights, where they can see how the page content and ads perform.
If you wish, you can also allow this person to have full control. Anyone with full control can give access to others, remove anyone from the page (including you), or delete the page.
If you do want to allow this person to have full control, make sure to toggle this option to "On."
Then all you have to do is click on “Give Access” to add this person as an admin of your Facebook page.
