How To Create Collection On Facebook

Once you've added individual items to your Facebook shop — including images and videos, title, description, website link, price, sale price if applicable, Facebook product category, condition, availability status, brand, and content ID — you can go ahead and upload the items.

Your products are being uploaded to your Facebook shop. Once you've added all of these items to your Facebook shop, select them all, click on Shops up top, and then on Show in Shops to ensure these items appear in your Facebook shop. Click on Show Items at the bottom once it has been successfully updated.

To add these products to a collection, click on Shops from the left-hand side panel, and then on Edit Shop. Where it says Shop’s Homepage, click on Add New and then on Collection to add a new collection to your Facebook shop homepage.

Choose whether you prefer a Cover Image Collection or a Product Grid Collection. A cover image collection uses a large image to represent your collection and help tell your brand story on your homepage. A product grid collection, on the other hand, shows a grid of the collection's top products to make it easier to browse on your homepage.

I'll select this first option — Cover Image Collection — and then on Confirm. You can either choose an existing collection to feature in your shop, or if you don't have one already, click on Create New Collection up top.

Enter a collection name — I'll add Collection Demo — then search your catalog for the products you want to add to this collection. I'll add Product One and Product Two, for instance, and then click on Confirm.

If you wish, you can also schedule the collection by entering start and end dates. Include images by showing up to four images of the collection in a slideshow on your shop's homepage. These images must be a JPG or PNG and at least 800 by 600 pixels.

You can also add additional text, such as the title and subtitle, and button color if you want to have one. Once you're done setting up your Facebook collection, click on Save at the bottom and then on Publish Updates.
