How to Add Products to a Facebook Shop And Instagram Shop Catalog

To add new products to your Facebook and Instagram shops, head over to the Meta Commerce Manager. Make sure that the appropriate Facebook and Instagram profile is selected, and then click on Go to Commerce Manager.



Once you're in your Commerce Manager, under Overview, locate where it says Add Products to Catalog and then click on Add Items. You can either choose to add items manually, using a data feed, or even a pixel. I'll select Manual and then click on Next.


For each new item you add, you can select an image and video for that product. These images and videos need to be at least 500 x 500 pixels and no larger than 8 megabytes for images and 100 megabytes for videos.


Add a short, clear title for your product (up to 200 characters), a description including the features and benefits of your product (up to 9,999 characters), a website link, price, sale price if you have one, as well as a Facebook product category if you so wish.


If you don't want to include this item you just added anymore, you can click on Delete Row. Or, if you want to both create products to sell in your Facebook and Instagram shops, click on this option over here on the left to either Add a Variant or Duplicate the Item.


You can also click on New Item at the bottom to add yet another product to add to your Facebook and Instagram shops. Under this drop-down arrow, you can also speed up the process by adding five items at a time or even ten items at a time.


Once you're done filling out all of these options for the items you want to add to your Facebook and Instagram shops, click on Upload Items at the bottom.


Once you've done that, you'll be good to go and able to start selling on both Instagram and Facebook shops.
