To switch over from the Wix Editor to the Wix Studio, access your Wix sites and then click on Discover Wix Studio up top. With Wix Studio, you're able to do more since Wix Studio is the platform for agencies and freelancers.
What's new in this Wix Studio? There are more site-building options where you can keep building in the Wix Editor or in the new responsive Studio Editor. There are also new ways to earn. You're able to sell custom templates in apps and get to revenue share from client sales and subscriptions. There's also a one-team workspace. You're able to manage sites, templates, support tickets, client handover, and more.
What stays the same, though? Your sites, subscriptions, and assets will move with you to your new workspace. Existing sites will remain in the Wix Editor. In order to switch from the Wix Editor to the new Wix Studio, go ahead and click on Switch to Wix Studio, and that's it!
In the new Wix Studio, you're able to discover where you can check out tutorials, updates, and inspiration to help create client projects at scale. Then, click on the options on the left-hand side to access your sites, which is where you can view and manage all your websites in one place. Branded mobile apps, where you're able to create a branded mobile app with no code needed, create custom templates to use for your client projects, as well as build and sell apps with Wix Blocks.
Under Client Experience, you're able to get client feedback to streamline your site revision process, ensure seamless site handover with client kits, bring more value to clients with monthly analytics reports, and join the Partner Program to set up custom branding.
Under Billing and Subscriptions, you're able to view and manage premium subscriptions or paid services, manage, connect, and transfer domains, build trust with a professional email address, view invoices and refunds for your premium subscriptions and paid services, view and manage the payment methods in your account, and use your vouchers to build your brand and drive visitors to your site.
Under Customer Care Tickets, you're able to manage all your support tickets in one place and save time by browsing previous solutions.
Under Earnings, you're able to join the Partner Program to start earning revenue share, sell Studio templates in the marketplace by joining the Partner Program, track your earnings received from app sales, and track your earnings received from revenue share and app sales.
Under Team, you're able to invite teammates to your workspace and give them access to your sites and projects.
Lastly, under Settings, you're able to manage your workspace details and set a custom URL prefix for your sites, add your business info so that your clients will see this information and use it to contact you, view and access all of your accounts, as well as manage which notifications you get from sites in this workspace. You'll still get important notifications like billing updates.
If you try out Wix Studio but don't enjoy it and want to switch back to the Wix Editor, head over to the Workspace Settings, scroll all the way down, and locate where it says Not a Freelancer or Agency. You can leave Wix Studio and the Partner Program by switching to the regular Wix experience. Click on Find Out, and in the popup that appears, check the box that says "I understand that I will lose access to all Studio features" and then click on Leave Wix Studio.
