Webinar Tutorial: How To Create Webinar For Free Using This Free Webinar Platform
In today's webinar tutorial I'm going to be sharing with you how to create a webinar for free with this free webinar platform that not many people think about. This video idea was suggested by Alex Class, after watching my video on 'how to create a webinar for free', if you haven't watched that yet, I'll leave the link to it in the description box below, which I posted back in 2018.
As he mentioned, many things have changed since then, so stay tuned until the end of this video to learn how to create a webinar for free, and to get my Webinar Sales Funnel Template that'll help you boost your webinar sign up rate, increase the number of people who show up live, and skyrocket your sales. To create a webinar for free, you just need 2 tools: your website creation platform, which you most likely already own and use (I personally use Wix), to host your live webinar page and YouTube live streaming, to share your live video with those watching the webinar, which is the free webinar platform I mentioned.
Okay, so let’s get into how to create a webinar for free. The first thing we'll do is head over to YouTube to create our live video which will be used during the webinar streaming. On YouTube, click on the camera icon on the top, right hand side, and then on 'go live'. YouTube will automatically open up a tab where you can edit the video's stream settings, but you'll want ot select 'webcam' instead.
Add your webinar’s title, change the audience from 'public' to 'unlisted', if you plan on going live at this exact moment, leave this 'schedule for later' option off, but if you wish to schedule your webinar for a later date, turn it on and add your webinar's date and time, as well as select whether your video is made for kids or not. Under 'more options', you can edit your webinar's description box, select your webinar's category, as well as edit which camera and microphone you'll be using for your webinar.
Once you’re done making edits, click on ‘next’. YouTube will take a thumbnail photo to add to your video, but you can also hover over the picture that was taken to upload a thumbnail from your computer.
To get the webinar link to add it to our live webinar page, click on ‘share’, and then copy the link that appears. Back on the live video popup, check if all of your settings are correct, and then click on 'done'.
Now let’s create our live webinar page on Wix, that’ll be the backbone to host our webinar. From your Wix site editor, click on ‘menus & pages’ from the left-hand side panel, and then on ‘+ add page' at the bottom. Rename that page ‘webinar’, and then press ‘done’.
Now click on the three little dots next to your webinar page, and click on ‘settings’. Under the ‘page info’ tab, toggle the button next to ‘hide from menu’ so that it’s on, under the ‘layouts’ tab, click on ‘no header and footer’, and under the ‘SEO (Google)’ tab, edit the page’s URL, title, and description. X out of the site menu once you’re done.
Now let’s create our live webinar page. Click on ‘add’ from the left-hand side menu, ‘text’, and then on ‘add heading 1’. This is where you’ll add the name of your site. From the text’s individual toolbar, you can edit its settings so that it looks the way you please (amethyst, 50, unbold, black).
To add your webinar’s title, click on ‘add’ from the left-hand side menu, ‘text’, and then on ‘add heading 2’. Edit the text so that it’s your webinar’s title, and edit its appearance by changing the settings in the text’s individual toolba.
To add the live video streaming to our website, click on ‘add’ from the left-hand side menu, ‘video’, and select ‘YouTube’. From the video’s individual toolbar, click on ‘change video’, and where it says 'what's the vide's web address?', paste your webinar live video link, make sure that you turn on autoplay, and then x out of the video settings. You can resize your video screen just as if it were an image so that it’s the size you wish. Place it onto the left-hand side of your screen.
Before we move on to the bottom section, where we’ll add a call to action to sign up for the exclusive offer we’ll be pitching during the webinar, here's an interesting fact: over 50% of your webinar sales will be made AFTER the webinar is over, so although it’s important to create this live webinar page with a button that links directly to your sales page, it’s also vital that it connects to a webinar email sales funnel.

Okay, so back to our live webinar page. To create the call to action section, click on ‘add’ from the left-hand side menu, ‘hover boxes’, and then select one that references a sale. Move the hover box down so it’s at the bottom of the page, and resize it so that it occupies the entire length of the screen with the text in the middle.
The first thing we'll do is click on the hover box, and then on 'change background' from its individual settings. Although this flashy video background is attention-grabbing, it may detract from your webinar views, so change the background to a static image of your choice, and then click on the 'apply to hover' icon, so that both the regular design and hover design match.
Now let’s edit the hover box to add the call to action text. Change the word 'sale' to 'flash sale' on the regular design, and under the hover design, change the sale percentage to the discount that you're offering as a trigger to get your webinar attendees to purchase your product right this second, and make sure that you link the text in the hover design to your sales page.
To share the live webinar page with the webinar registrants, just publish and share the link to this page we just created. Once you’re ready to go live, on the day and time of the webinar, just as we did before, on YouTube, click on the camera icon on the top, right hand side, and then on 'go live'. Now instead of clicking on 'webcam', click on 'manage', and then click on top of your webinar's title. Click on 'go live', and in a few seconds, you'll be broadcasting your webinar live to all attendees.
