In this video, I'll show you how to unpublish a Wix website with ease. This here is what the site looks like when it was published. First thing you need to do is enter your Wix dashboard of the site you want to unpublish. Then, from the left-hand side panel, scroll down until you reach "Settings" and then click on that. Under your site settings, click on "Website Settings".

Up top, you'll be able to see whether your site is published or not. In my case, my site is published. In order to unpublish this Wix website, go ahead and click on the "Unpublish" button. A pop-up will appear asking you to unpublish your website. Once you unpublish, your website won't be visible to visitors. You can always publish it again from the editor. So, let's go ahead and click on the "Unpublish" button again.
The page will be refreshed, and now you'll be able to see that the site isn't published. Now, if we refresh this page, you'll be able to see that an error message appears rather than the website.
In order to publish the site once again, click on "Quick Access" at the bottom, and then on "Edit Site". From your Wix website's dashboard, click on "Publish" on the top right-hand side. Now, if we click on "View Site" once the pop-up appears, you'll be able to see that the site is now online again.
So, you've successfully unpublished and then published the website. Now, if you want to take things a step further and delete your Wix website rather than unpublish it, make sure to click on the video on the screen to check out how to do just that.
