How To Connect Instagram To Facebook Page

To connect Instagram to your Facebook page, switch into your page on Facebook. To do so, click on your profile picture on the top right hand side, and then click on the page you want to switch into. In my case, this page called demo video.



Once you've switched into that page, click on professional dashboard from the left hand side, and then on link accounts from the right. From here, you're able to connect both Instagram and WhatsApp. Go ahead and click on Instagram.


To connect your Facebook page to a professional Instagram account, click on connect account at the bottom. Just as a side note, you can only connect an Instagram professional account to a Facebook page. You aren't able to connect a personal Instagram account. If you do have a professional Instagram account, click on connect at the bottom.


If you wish, you can allow access to Instagram messages and inbox by toggling this option over here to on. Then go ahead and click on continue at the bottom.


As you can see, Facebook already found one of my Instagram accounts, so all I have to do is log in as said Instagram account. You can then select which option best describes you: either creator, which is best for public figures, content producers, artists, and influencers, or business, which is best for retailers, local businesses, brands, organizations, and service providers.


I'll select creator and then click on next at the bottom, and then on next once again. You can also select a category that best describes what you do. You'll have the option to display or hide this on your profile by toggling this option over here to on or off. I'll select the appropriate category and then click on done.


If that Instagram account wasn't a professional account already, you can then click on continue to switch it to a professional account, which is exactly what I'll do. Now, your Instagram account is ready to be connected to your Facebook page. Go ahead and click on done at the bottom.


As you can see, connecting my Facebook page to Instagram will add both profiles to my business portfolio. This lets me manage my profiles with more advanced tools like Meta Business Suite, and securely assign other people access to work on them. Go ahead and click on continue to join both accounts.


A popup appeared saying that Instagram is connected. The demo video Facebook page is now connected to the Debeautify Instagram account. To finish setting things up, click on done at the bottom.


Now, if you wish, you can either view details of this connected Instagram account or disconnect the account if you don't want the Instagram account to be connected to your Facebook page anymore. If you want even more Facebook tips and tricks, make sure to watch the video on the screen right now.
