How To Upload Video On Facebook Page

To upload a video on a Facebook page, head over to your Facebook page and scroll down until you reach this section up top. Click on photo or video and then select a photo or video from your documents. Once you've done that, click on open.



You can then add a description to your video such as this video is all about adding videos to a Facebook page. You can also click on video options on the top left of the video to add advanced features to your video that you've been adding to your Facebook page.


This include the video's title where you can improve your video's distribution with a title. I'll add how to upload video on Facebook page. You can also test out multiple titles by clicking on the plus button such as learn how to upload videos on Facebook. You can also add tags. As you can see here, I've added four of them. Social media, Facebook, video, and Facebook page, as well as a collaborator if you have one by searching by name or URL.


Other options include the ability to add captions where you can either manually upload captions or automatically add captions where Facebook shows captions so all audiences can follow along with your video. This includes captions in the language of your video. In my case, English US. And if you wish, you can also enable translations where you can automatically translate closed captions to the viewer's selected language.


Under auto descriptions, you can upload an auto description where viewers of your video can choose to listen to an audio description of your content as it plays. Under text transcripts, you can upload a text transcript where viewers of your video can choose to read a text transcript as your content plays.


You can also change the thumbnail by choosing a suggested thumbnail, uploading an image, or choosing an image from the video. I'll click on choose suggested and have this one over here. If you want to enable the optimization feature, you first need to remove the additional titles from the video's post. Once you've done that, you can then click on optimization to use smart cropping to adjust your video's appearance on different devices.


You can either select no optimization, one on one where you generate a 1:1 cropped version of your video to show viewers using your selected device, or 4 to 5, where you generate a 4 to 5 cropped version of your video to show viewers using your selected device type. I'll select no optimization and then click on save at the bottom.


Once your Facebook video has been 100% uploaded, you have added a description of your video as well as its video options, you can then select who to share this video with. In my case, I have it set as public where anyone on or off Facebook can view this post. You can also add to your post additional photos or videos, tag people, as well as check in.


If you click on the three little dots, you can access more options where you can also include a feeling or activity as well as the option to raise money. Once you're done adding all of that and customizing the settings, click on next at the bottom.


You'll be able to view a Facebook post preview of your video, view your post audience, in my case public, view scheduling options such as the ability to publish now or schedule your Facebook post for later, where you can then choose a date and time in the future when you want your post to be published, the ability to share to groups where you're able to reach more people when you share your Facebook post in relevant groups, as well as the ability to boost your Facebook post where you'll choose settings after you click post.


Once you're done customizing all of these, click on post at the bottom to successfully post a video to your Facebook page.
