Wondering how to schedule posts on Facebook? In this Facebook scheduling tutorial, I'll be sharing how to schedule a post on Facebook for a later date and time.
By the end of this video, you'll know exactly how to schedule a Facebook post on a Facebook business page or on a Facebook fan page including text, videos or photos so that you can schedule a Facebook post for any date in the future. To schedule a post on Facebook, head over to your Facebook business page, and click on 'create post'. At the very bottom, where it says 'post scheduling and additional options are available in publishing tools', click on 'publishing tools' to access the Facebook Business Suite.
You can access this same Facebook Business Suite from your Facebook page's homepage, and then clicking on 'publishing tools' from the left-hand side panel.
Click on the blue 'create post' button on the top, right-hand side to access the Facebook New Post Creation Tool. With the New Post Creation Tool, you can post to Facebook, Instagram, or both at the same time as well as publish posts now or schedule for later.
To schedule a Facebook post for later, under 'placements' select 'Facebook News Feed', add some text in the space provided, add media, such as photos and videos, add a call to action to get messages, enter a link and location, as well as a feeling or activity. Once you're done creating your Facebook post, you can preview what it will look like on the right-hand side.
To schedule your Facebook post, instead of clicking on the blue 'publish' button at the bottom, click on the downward pointing arrow next to it, and then on 'schedule post'. Select a date and time in the future for your Facebook post to be published, and then click on 'schedule'.
Alternatively, you can use a third-party tool to schedule posts on Facebook, such as Later. If you don't have a Later account yet, click on the link in the description box below to sign up for free, as well as get 10 more posts per month for free.
Once you've connected your Facebook profile to your Later account, click on 'calendar' from the left-hand side panel, and then either click on 'upload media' to upload a new Facebook post to be scheduled, or drag-and-drop an already uploaded file onto the calendar.
Add your Facebook post caption in the space provided, and then at the very bottom select a date and time when you wish your Facebook post to be published. Once you're done creating and scheduling your Facebook post, click on 'save'.
