Wondering how to optimize YouTube videos and how to rank YouTube videos? In this YouTube marketing tips tutorial, you'll learn how to get more views easily and where to get YouTuber support. So let's get right into this video marketing tutorial for you to get more views as a small YouTuber and find out exactly how to get more views on YouTube fast.

Right after your YouTube video has gone public, there are a number of things you can do to optimize your YouTube video and get more views easily. For instance, I'm going to show you how I promote this 'Canva Video Tutorial On How To Make YouTube Intro On Canva', which just went live.

The first thing I'll do is head over to that specific video's details, in my YouTube studio. To get to this section, open up YouTube, click on your icon on the top, right-hand side, and then on 'YouTube Studio'. Click on 'content' from the left-hand side panel, locate the video that just went live, and then click on the pencil icon to access its details.

From the YouTube video's description box, copy all the resources you mentioned within that video, which we had already written out when we scripted this video. If you don't know 'how to write a script for a YouTube video', make sure to watch my video on that topic, I'll leave the link to it in the description box below.

Now click on the YouTube video's thumbnail on the top, left-hand side to view it on YouTube, paste the resources mentioned as a comment on your YouTube video, and then click on 'comment'. Click on the three little dots that appear on the right-hand side of the comment, and then click on 'pin'.

Click on 'pin' again from the popup that appears. This will guarantee that your comment will always be the first comment to appear, even if other people comment on your YouTube video.

Make sure that you watch the entirety of your video from the YouTube account that you published it from, like it, and like that first comment that you added. If you have other YouTube accounts, such as a personal YouTube account, click on your icon on the top, right-hand side, on 'switch accounts', click on your other YouTube account, and watch and like your just-published YouTube video from that account as well to get more views easily.

With your just-published YouTube video still open, click on show more to expand its description box, and then click on the click to tweet link that you created. If you don't know how to create a click to tweet link, make sure to check out my video on 'how to upload videos on Youtube' where I show you how to do that. I'll leave the link to it in the description box below.

Copy the content of that tweet, head back to YouTube where you're optimizing your YouTube video, click on 'share' below the video, and use the content of that tweet to craft social media posts to do YouTube marketing for your new YouTube video on social media. For instance, I'll click on Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Twitter, and follow the steps for each of those social media platforms to create a new post promoting my YouTube video.

For Facebook, I'll paste the caption in the space provided, click on the dropdown menu on the top, left-hand side, click on 'share on a page you manage', select my Yes To Tech page, and then click on 'post to Facebook' at the bottom.

For LinkedIn, I'll click on 'share in a post', paste the caption in the space provided, and then click on 'post' on the bottom, right-hand side.

For Pinterest, I'll choose the board I want to save this pin to, and then click on 'save'.

For Twitter, I'll paste the caption in the space provided, and then click on 'tweet' on the bottom, right-hand side.

Now let's click on the other tab we were on with the YouTube video's details. Click on the backward pointing arrow on the top, left-hand side, and then on 'customization' from the left-hand side panel.

Locate this video spotlight section. Click on the three little dots on the top, right-hand side of the 'channel trailer for people who haven't subscribed' section, and then on 'change video'. Select the YouTube video you just published.

Repeat the same process for the 'featured video for returning subscribers' section. Once you’re done, click on publish on the top, right-hand side. Adding your most recent video as your YouTube channel's trailer and featured video will help you optimize your YouTube video and ensure that you get more views easily on it.

Another place where you can do YouTube marketing for your just-published YouTube video is on Facebook. There are a number of Facebook groups and messenger threads where you can paste your YouTube video link to get more views.

The only thing is that those groups value reciprocity. Although you can promote your own YouTube video, you need to watch, like and comment on other's YouTube videos as well.

In my case, I'm a part of two Facebook messenger threads to optimize YouTube videos, so I'll first locate my Youtube video's link by opening the video up, clicking on 'share' and then copying the video's link, and then paste the Youtube video's link to those two Facebook messenger threads.

I'm also a part of two Facebook groups to optimize YouTube videos, so I'll locate the most recent posts for promoting YouTube videos, and paste my Youtube video's link in them.

Still on Facebook, if you host your own Facebook group like I do, mine is called Boss Blog Collective, feel free to do YouTube marketing on that Facebook group. In the Facebook group, click on 'write something' up top to create a new Facebook post.

In my Facebook group, I not only paste the YouTube video's URL to get more views easily, but also open up the video's script, copy the YouTube video's intro, and paste that as the Facebook post's caption, and then click on ‘post’.

There are two other places on social media where I optimize YouTube videos that just went public: on Pinterest and on Instagram. As I showed you in my previous video on 'how to promote your YouTube channel', if you haven't watched that yet, I'll leave the link to it in the description box below, we already created and scheduled two static Pinterest pins.

What I do now in terms of YouTube marketing on Pinterest is post an idea pin. To do so, click on 'create' on the top, left-hand side, and then on 'create idea pin'. Either drag and drop or click to upload images and videos.

Locate the appropriate file from your documents, and then click on 'open'. If you don't know how to create these types of video graphics, make sure to watch my video on 'how to make graphics for your YouTube videos with Canva'. I'll leave the link to it in the description box below.

Click on the title that Pinterest automatically ads, and then on the trash can icon that appears on the left of it to delete it. Click on 'delete' again on the popup that appears. Once you're done designing and adding additional elements to your idea pin, click on 'next' on the bottom, right-hand side.

To fill out the finishing touches of this Pinterest idea pin I'm creating as part of my YouTube marketing efforts, I use the Instagram caption I already created. As the title, I add the very first line of the caption.

For the board, I select my business' board, Yes To Tech. For tagged topics, I select media, digital media, design, graphic design, marketing, small business marketing, business marketing, content marketing, marketing tools and marketing communication.

I then click on 'add a list', select notes, paste the first Instagram caption in the space provided, as well as the YouTube video's link. Once you're done adding the finishing touches to this Pinterest idea pin, click on 'publish' on the bottom, right-hand side.

I use this same video graphic as an Instagram Reel to do YouTube marketing to get more views easily. Rather than doing so on my phone, I use a Google Chrome extension called Inssist to do so.

Once in my Inssist account, I click on the plus icon at the bottom, and then on 'Reels'. Locate the appropriate file from your documents, and then click on 'open'. Once the Instagram Reels uploads, click on 'next' up top.

Write a caption, I'll paste the first sentence from the Instagram caption we had already uploaded, including any hashtags if you so wish, select a cover for your Instagram Reels, tick the 'also share to feed' box, and then click on 'share' up top.

Now I'll head over to Instagram on my phone to do further YouTube marketing to get more views easily, and on my Instagram profile, click on the plus icon up top, and then on 'story'. I'll locate the Instagram story video graphic we created when I talked about how to make graphics for your YouTube videos with Canva, and then click on it to open it up.

Before posting, click on the smiley face icon up top, and then on 'link'. Paste the YouTube video that just went public's URL in the space provided, click to customize the sticker text to something along like 'click here to watch now', and then click on 'done'.

I'll reposition the YouTube video's link, click on the smiley face icon up top, search for 'arrow', and then select an arrow animation of my choice. I'll reposition the arrow animation, and then click on 'your stories' on the bottom left-hand side.

Since we just published an Instagram Reel as well, I'll click on it, click on the share icon, and then on 'add Reel to your story'. I'll reposition that Reel, click on the smiley face icon up top, and then on 'link'. Paste the YouTube video that just went public's URL in the space provided, click to customize the sticker text to something along like 'tap to watch on YouTube', and then click on 'done'.

I'll reposition the YouTube video's link, and then click on 'your story' on the bottom left-hand side. By sharing the YouTube video on all of our social media platforms, we can get more views easily and optimize YouTube videos.

The last place where we'll be doing YouTube marketing is on our email marketing platform. I personally use ConvertKit for that, which you can try out for free by clicking on the link in the description box below.

In my previous video I showed you how to schedule the broadcast that went out right when the YouTube video was published. Now what we'll do is reschedule that same broadcast to those who didn't open the email.

To do so, in ConvertKit, click on 'send' from the panel up top, and then on 'broadcasts'. Locate the broadcast you sent out promoting this YouTube video that just went public, and then click on its title.

Click on 'resend to unopens' on the right-hand side. Feel free to change the email broadcast's subject and content, and then click on 'continue' on the bottom, right-hand side. Select when you would like to send this, I'll schedule mine two days from now, and then click on 'continue' on the bottom right-hand side again.

To successfully optimize YouTube videos to get more views easily with YouTube marketing, click on 'schedule broadcast' at the bottom.
