How to Make a Sales Page on Teachable FAST with NEW Product Detail Page | Teachable Tutorial

Still wasting hours designing a sales page that barely gets clicks? What if I told you that Teachable just released a brand new tool that builds your course sales page for you—and it's optimized to show on Google?



In this video, I'm going to show you how to activate the new Product Detail Page in seconds, so that you can go from this… to this. So you can sell faster, rank higher, and finally stop stressing over your course page design.



All right, so the first step is to log into your Teachable account. Head over to Teachable's homepage, click on "Creator Login" on the top right-hand side, and access your Teachable School.


Once there, click on "Courses" from the left-hand side panel. Search for the specific course you want to add the Product Detail Page for. Let's say I want to do that for this Traffic Takeoff Starter Bundle—I'm going to go ahead and click on that, and then access the Setup Guide from the left-hand side panel.


Once there, scroll down until you reach this "Where would you like to sell your course?" section. Where it says "Select your primary promotional page," switch from Teachable Sales Page to Product Detail Page.


To customize what this Product Detail Page looks like, click on "Edit" from the right. From here, you can edit the product information. This includes the title, description, and thumbnail. All you have to do is click on "Edit" on the right. Feel free to edit these three sections.


Now, if we scroll down, you can switch the available prices. You can either toggle this option to "On" to display all current and future published pricing plans. If you toggle this button to "Off," you can then select the specific pricing plans to add to your Product Details Page. In my case, I can select one-time purchase as well as the payment plan.


You can also select the optional content sections. This includes a rich text area where you can add additional text and images to promote your course. You can select whether you want to display the course curriculum.


And here's the best part—you can toggle this last option to "On" to allow your online course to be discoverable on search engines, including Google Courses. This is a gamechanger for Teachable, since before, it was harder for you to get found in search. Now they're doing all the work for you so you can create your course and be all set.


You can also change the page URL if you wish. Once you're happy with how your Product Detail Page (sales page) looks, click on "Save" at the bottom. The Product Detail Page has been updated successfully.


To see what this page looks like, click on "Preview"—and there you have it. Your new sales page, created in just seconds, which includes the title, description, any additional text you added, the course content, as well as the different pricing options. It's also discoverable on Google with Google Courses.


To share this page with your audience, all you have to do is click on "Copy Link" and share the URL wherever you wish.
