How To Add Full Width Images In Wix With Strips - Wix Tutorial. In this video you’ll discover how to add full-width images in Wix by using strips.

First of all, if you don’t have a Wix account yet, click here to get started for FREE right away.

To add full width-images in Wix by using strips, in your Wix Editor, go to the the left-hand side panel, click on 'add', and then on ‘strip’. You’ll notice that a number of options populate. Scroll down until you reach the classic strips, and click on the white one to add it to your page.

You’ll see that the strip already occupies the entire width of your screen. To add your image to the strip, click on ‘change strip background’ from the strip’s individual toolbar, then select image. You can select an image you’ve already downloaded, or click on the orange ‘upload images’ button on the right to upload a new image, you can choose an image from social media, select a free one from Wix, or even purchase an image from shutterstock. Once you’ve selected an image of your liking, click on ‘change background’.

Now, there are a few things we can edit in this image. To make edits to it, click on settings from that same popup we were on. You can change the image opacity, add a color behind the image and change its opacity, and 3D-like effects to your image when your visitors scroll down the page, change the image’s scaling to original size, scale to fit, or tile, and edit the image’s positioning by clicking on any of these squares.
