How To Create Graphics With Visme (For Beginners) - Social Media Graphics, Infographics and Presentations. In this Visme tutorial, you’ll discover how to create graphics, namely social graphics, infographics and presentations, with Visme, which is a powerful graphic design tool specialized in creating stunning visuals and professional graphics right from your browser.

First of all, if you don’t have an account with Visme yet, click here to create one. Its basic plan is free, so you can get started right away.

To create social graphics, infographics and presentations with Visme, go to visme.co, login to your account, and click on the blue ‘+ create new’ button up top. Now you’ll see how simple and easy it is to customize Visme’s templates to create a unique graphic design.

Right below where it says, ‘what would you like to create today?’, select the type of project you’d like to customize: presentations, infographics, documents, printables, web graphics, social graphics, or you can choose a custom size project to edit from scratch.

Let’s first select the ‘presentations’ project, and choose the ‘modern’ option. If you’re looking to create stunning presentations for your webinars or online courses, this is the way to go. You can click on any of the elements on the screen to edit them, such as the background, text or icons. All you have to do is edit its individual settings from the toolbar up top.

To add a new slide to your presentation, all you have to do is click on ‘+ add slide’ on the top, right-hand corner, and select one of the options from the pre-set templates. For example, you can use an ‘introduction’ template as your regular slides, you can use a ‘timeline’ template to highlight your journey of transformation, you can use a ‘sections’ template to transition from one talking point to another during a webinar, you can use a ‘pricing table / subscription’ template to visually show your course’s pricing options, and lastly you can use a ‘testimonials’ template to showcase your client’s results.

To add any of these slides to your presentation, all you have to do is choose the one you wish to add, and click on use this slide. Again, you can click on any of the elements on the screen to edit them, and customize them by editing its individual settings from the toolbar up top.

Another thing you can do is add additional content to the slides by using the options available on the left-hand side panel. You can insert suggested content, graphics, data, media, edit your theme colors, and also add your own files.

Once you’re happy with how your presentation looks, click on ‘untitled project’ on the top, left-hand side, to rename it, and then click on ‘download’ on the top, right-hand side to save it to your computer. You can save the presentation as a JPG or PNG image, as a PDF or PPT document, or even as HTML 5. Just click on the option that you prefer.

To return to your dashboard, click on the ‘x’ on the top, right-hand side, then on the three horizontal lines on the top, left-hand side, and click on ‘back to dashboard’.

Okay, so now let’s create an infographic. Click on the blue ‘+ create new’ button up top. Right below where it says, ‘what would you like to create today?’, select ‘infographics’, and click on a template you’d like to edit, such as this one. Just like with the presentation we just personalized, you can click on any of the elements on the screen to edit them, and customize them by editing its individual settings from the toolbar up top.

Since infographics are comprised of blocks, you can use its individual toolbar that’s located on the right-hand side of the infographic to easily edit its appearance. You can click on the ‘+’ sign to add a new block, either a blank one or from a template, you can click on the arrows pointing up or down to move a particular block’s location, you can click on the two squares to duplicate any existing block, and you can even click on the trash to delete any block you wish. Lastly, you can click on ‘settings’ to change a block’s background and height.

Just like with the presentation, you can add additional content to the infographic by using the options available on the left-hand side panel. You can insert suggested content, graphics, data, media, edit your theme colors, and also add your own files.

Once you’re happy with how your infographic looks, click on ‘untitled project’ on the top, left-hand side, to rename it, and then click on ‘download’ on the top, right-hand side to save it to your computer. Choose the type of file you’d like to save your infographic as, JPG, PNG, PDF, PPT or HTML 5, and click on the option that you prefer to save it to your computer.

Again, to return to your dashboard, click on the ‘x’ on the top, right-hand side, then on the three horizontal lines on the top, left-hand side, and click on ‘back to dashboard’.

So lastly, let’s create a social graphic. Click on the blue ‘+ create new’ button up top. Right below where it says, ‘what would you like to create today?’, select ‘social graphics’, click on the type of social graphic you’d like to customize from the available options, so you can choose between Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest or Instagram, and click on a template you’d like to edit, such as this one. Just like with the presentation and infographic we personalized, you can click on any of the elements on the screen to edit them, and customize them by editing their individual settings from the toolbar up top.

From the left-hand side panel, you can edit your social graphic’s layout, as well as add additional content. You can insert suggested content, graphics, data, media, edit your theme colors, and also add your own files.

Once you’re happy with how your social media graphic looks, click on ‘untitled project’ on the top, left-hand side, to rename it, and then click on ‘download’ on the top, right-hand side to save it to your computer. Choose the type of file you’d like to save your social media graphic as, and click on the option that you prefer to save it to your computer.

And that’s it. Now you know how to create social graphics, infographics and presentations with Visme, which is a powerful graphic design tool specialized in creating stunning visuals right from your browser.
