How To Add A Google Map In Wix - Wix Tutorial. In this video you’ll discover how to add a Google Map in Wix. You can use this Wix Google map to make it easier for potential customers to find your business on Google.
First of all, if you don’t have a Wix account yet, click here to get started for FREE right away.
To add a map to a page on your Wix site, all you have to do is click on 'add' in the left-hand side panel of the Wix Editor, click on 'contact', and scroll down until you find the Google Maps section. Click on a map of your liking to add it to the page.
From its individual toolbar, click on change address to define your location (aka your address), insert a description of what that location is (if you don’t insert a description, the address will appear on the map instead), set how the map behaves by toggling the following options so that they appear or not (show map and satellite views, show zoom control, show street view control, and allow dragging), and lastly you can change the language that the button is in.
Okay so moving on. Under 'design', you can change the map's design to another pre-set option, and under ‘stretch’, you can select whether the map stretches to full width or not.
