Wondering how to create a Leadpages thank you page design? In this Leadpages tutorial, Leadpages review and Leadpages demo, you'll learn all about Leadpages templates so that you can boost your email marketing and lead generation efforts. So let's get right into this how to use Leadpages landing page builder for thank you pages.
First off, if you don't have a Leadpages account yet, just click on the link in the description box below to sign up for free. To create a Leadpages thank you page, log in to your Leadpages account, click on 'landing pages' from the left-hand side panel, and then on 'create new landing page' on the top, right-hand side. Leadpages will provide you with a number of landing page templates.
You can sort those by conversion rate, most popular or newest. For a detailed breakdown of what makes a Leadpages landing page design convert, make sure to watch my video on that topic. I'll leave the link to it in the description box below.
You can also view the landing page Leadpages templates by collections, page type, industry, style and color. Let's go ahead and open up the 'page type' dropdown menu, and then click on 'thank you & confirmation'.
All of these templates can be used for Leadpages thank you pages. If you hover your mouse over any of the Leadpages thank you page templates, you can click on preview to preview them on desktop or on mobile, and then click on 'start building' to start customizing it.
Give your Leadpages thank you page a name to help you identify your page in the app, your customers will not see this and you can change this later, such as Leadpages thank you page demo, and then click on 'continue'. If you hover your mouse over the name you just gave to your Leadpages thank you page, you can click on the pencil icon to change the landing page name and URL.
Although this Leadpages thank you page was already created in a way that converts, you can customize your thank you page in Leadpages to look the way you wish. Just like with any landing page you create on Leadpages, you can click on any of the existing elements within this landing page to customize them from their individual toolbars, or click on 'widgets' from the left-hand side panel to add a new element to this Leadpages thank you page.

Once you're done creating your Leadpages thank you page, click on 'publish' on the top, right-hand side, and then on 'publish' again to make your landing page active. Now what's left to do is connect this Leadpages thank you page to the Leadpages opt-in landing page, so that whenever a visitor fills out your email opt-in form, they'll automatically be redirected to this Leadpages thank you page.
To do so, click on the 'back button' on the top, left-hand side to return to the landing pages tab in Leadpages. Locate the opt-in landing page you wish to connect with the thank you page we just created, and then click on the pencil icon on the right-hand side to edit it.
In this opt-in landing page, the email opt-in form we want to connect with the Leadpages thank you page is in a pop up that appears after we click on this 'get the guide button', so let's place our cursor over this button, and then click on 'edit pop up'.
Once the popup appears, hover your mouse over the email opt-in form, and then click on 'edit integrations'. Fill out the opt-in form integrations, then click on 'next-fields', fill out the form fields, and then click on 'next-actions'.

This actions section is where we'll connect this Leadpages opt-in landing page to the Leadpages thank you page we just created. Under this 'send the visitors to' section, click on 'landing page', click on the Leadpages thank you page we created, and then click on 'save and close' at the bottom.
To make the integration between the Leadpages opt-in landing page and Leadpages thank you page active, click on 'publish' on the top, right-hand side, and then on 'publish' again. Now if we open up this opt-in landing page, click on the 'get the guide' button, and fill out the opt-in form, we'll be able to see the Leadpages thank you page we just created in action.
